Olive Thomas was born from the belief that shoes are more than a piece of clothing, they are an essential extension of your body. 

I design shoes that I would (and do) love to wear. Shoes that are comfortable, that are flattering, that are feminine, but aren’t girly, that are stylish, but are still timeless. Shoes that have that slight edge, a uniqueness that defines them from your normal high-street, mass market, fast fashion shoes, but are still effortless. Shoes that people will stop you in the street to ask you where they’re from.

The shoes are handmade in a small, family-run factory near Tel Aviv. I visit the factory 2-3 times a week to oversee the design and manufacturing process. The materials are imported from Italy, but I prefer to keep the manufacturing close to hand because when you oversee every little step you get the product you really want. This way I have the flexibility to make last minute changes, custom orders and quick repeats.

The shoes are lovingly crafted and every element is carefully chosen in order to make shoes that are essentials, that are designed to be kept and that are made to last.
